Ceres is located 80 miles south of Sacramento and 95 miles east of San Francisco and is the third largest city in Stanislaus County with a population over approximately 45,000.
Ceres is an agriculturally rich area with a small-town feel, named after the Roman goddess of agriculture, Ceresis. The town comes together to stage many community events throughout the year. The Ceres Street Faire, Summertime Concert in the Park series, and Christmas Tree Lane opening ceremony draw large crowds and invoke a sense of community.
Ceres' neighborhood traditions and close proximity to Modesto make it an ideal place to call home.
